SEGi Glamorous Prom – Part 4: Food!
A long post with plenty of food pictures! Yup, that’s right. An entry dedicated to food only. I only missed out a couple of items from the menu that night. All shots were take with my EOS 350D, with Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 attached. ISO sensitivity was set to ISO800, and flash was on ETTL mode. I reckon to set the speedlite’s mode to M (Manual) for consistency, as I bounced the flash towards the ceiling for diffusion. Hmm.. I’m still missing my camera. Another weekend is here..
Can someone please help me?
Okay, enough of photography talk. Here’s the menu.

Menu: 1) Four Season, 2) Fish Lips Soup with Crabmeat, 3) Steamed Halibut Cantonese Style, 4) Beggar’s Chicken, 5) Buttered Prawns, 6) Szechuan Lamb Chop, 7) Mixed Vegetables with Seafood,
Fried Rice, 9) Mixed Fruits + Chinese Pancake.

Four Season.

Fish Lips Soup with Crabmeat. (Note: Annna is not part of the dish) I forgot to snap the big bowl of soup, so had to make do with this version.


Steamed Halibut Cantonese Style.

Beggar’s Chicken, it doesn’t look like chicken from this view, no?

Annna’s modeling hand gave the chicken a lift from the herbs.. and it still doesn’t look like chicken.

So, I asked Annna to tear the chicken apart, so that we can see the meat texture. Look at the steam coming off from the chicken!

There you go, it looks more like chicken now. LOL! Beggar’s Chicken, ladies and gentlemen.

I only missed out entirely on the Fried Rice. I didn’t get to taste the rice. LOL! Overall, the food was okay that night.
