I’ve moved!
Short note: The theme color I chose is coincidentally similar to Sony Alpha’s color. LOL! It doesn’t mean I prefer Sony Alpha over Canon EOS. Hehe.
Welcome to my new blog! I’m still new to blogging with wordpress. As you can see, some of the things are not in right places so far.
Anyways, my first post would be a continuation from my old blog, I mentioned Sony Alpha A300. So might as well post a couple more photos of that model here.

The orange Alpha logo stood out from the black background, doesn’t it?
Sony Alpha A300 is another entry level DSLR introduced alongside A350, offering another alternative to the A200 which was announced bit earlier than these two.
Both A300 and A350 are pretty much of the same built, in terms of the features and performances. One of the few differences is the Megapixel, A300 come packed with a 10.2 Megapixel sensor, while A350 is loaded with 14.2 Megapixel. Other notable difference is the continuous drive. A300 can burst to 3.0 fps, comparing to A350′s 2.5 fps.
It’s quite a surprise to see a lower spec of A300 to be able to shoot up to 3.0 fps in burst mode, while the higher spec A350 only manages a 2.5 fps.

Like other Sony Alpha, the body build has very strong plastic-feel, which makes the body lacks solidness. Both A300 and A350 comes with Live View feature, and they even added a tilting LCD display, and it comes in a good size at 2.7 inch. Other features include the on body image stabilization, which is a sensor-shift image stabilization. This, however, remains skeptical to me. More from me later in future.
I shall keep the review short here, as this is not an in-depth review on the camera here. I must say, however, that this camera is quite good camera to start with for beginners in DSLR, or photography enthusiasts. If you would like to read a detailed review, you can check this one from DPreview.com.
Last but not least, most of the reviews claimed that the kit lens for this camera, 18-70 f/3.5-5.6 isn’t good. It would be better off if photographers can chip in more money to get better lens, the Carl Ziess lens is widely recommended.
As a closure to my first post in my new blog, I welcome you guys again, and hope you guys will enjoy your stay here. I will continue to work on my renovation at my new place here.
Cheers!
