The finale, after so long. LOL! I won’t be able to show all photos here. Anyway, here in the post, you’ll have the pink lady, red lady and Anna + Eve. I don’t think I can include the green wall shot here. Will just show it in my facebook or this site. (Note: Shutterfly.com is a great site that was introduced to me not long ago. SEGi Glamorous Prom – Part 4: Food!

A long post with plenty of food pictures! Yup, that’s right. An entry dedicated to food only. I only missed out a couple of items from the menu that night. All shots were take with my EOS 350D, with Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 attached. ISO sensitivity was set to ISO800, and flash was on ETTL mode. I reckon to set the speedlite’s mode to M (Manual) for consistency, as I bounced the flash towards the ceiling for diffusion. Hmm.. I’m still missing my camera. Another weekend is here.. Can someone please help me?

Okay, enough of photography talk. Here’s the menu.

Menu: 1) Four Season, 2) Fish Lips Soup with Crabmeat, 3) Steamed Halibut Cantonese Style, 4) Beggar’s Chicken, 5) Buttered Prawns, 6) Szechuan Lamb Chop, 7) Mixed Vegetables with Seafood, Fried Rice, 9) Mixed Fruits + Chinese Pancake.

Four Season.

Fish Lips Soup with Crabmeat. (Note: Annna is not part of the dish) I forgot to snap the big bowl of soup, so had to make do with this version.

Steamed Halibut Cantonese Style.

Beggar’s Chicken, it doesn’t look like chicken from this view, no?

Annna’s modeling hand gave the chicken a lift from the herbs.. and it still doesn’t look like chicken.

So, I asked Annna to tear the chicken apart, so that we can see the meat texture. Look at the steam coming off from the chicken!

There you go, it looks more like chicken now. LOL! Beggar’s Chicken, ladies and gentlemen.

Buttered Prawn.

Szechuan Lamb Chop.

Mixed Vegetables with Seafood.

Mixed Fruits and Chinese Pancakes.

I only missed out entirely on the Fried Rice. I didn’t get to taste the rice. LOL! Overall, the food was okay that night.

SEGi Glamorous Prom – Part 3

Glittering moments continue here.. This post is quite random.. Since I didn’t reveal what my configuration is in my previous post, well, I had my Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 on my EOS 350D and my Speedlite 580EX II attached. ISO sensitivity was set to 800 for most of the shots.

SEGi Glamorous Prom – Part 2

The last time I went to a prom myself was some 3-4 years ago, when I was in Malacca. Well, I must say, it sure feels quite different if comparing then and now. Now, I miss my time as a university undergraduate.

The hall is nicely set for the occasion.

SEGi Glamourous Prom – Part 1

Glamour and glitter set in in Sarawak Club some ten days ago. Everyone dug deep into their wardrobe to reach for their best dress, some even dug into a ‘big wardrobe’ located at Simpang Tiga – the Spring shopping mall. Everyone was preparing for the Glamorous Prom Night organized by the SEGi College.

So the glamorous moments start here. The ladies of the night were Annna and Eve. They went on to the prom as date that evening. I was there to enjoy the sight of people dressing up glamorously. Hehe.
